If you are planning a trip to Vegas after July, take a few extra bucks with you. They just might be raising the room tax on hotel stays. At this time they are talking about a 3% increase.

The increase on the room tax will be an extra $233 million for the state.

They are now waiting for the governors signature in the next couple of weeks to close the deal.

If you think about it, it really isn’t that bad, especially since you can get a lot of good deals now on hotel rooms, and if everyone pitches in, it will really help out the state.
