Default Scammer using MGM Mirage Logo

Checks have been recieved in California, Texas, Nevada, and other states with MGM Mirages Logo on them as part of a recent scam.

These people also recieve a letter that states that they won a sweepstakes associated with MGM Mirage and that they are to deposit the checks and pay an administrative fee to boot.

These checks and letters are not associated with MGM Mirage so please be aware of this scam that is going on right now.

I would suppose that if you recieve any of this material, that it would be a good idea to get in contact with the authorities.

I have to wonder in our hard times now, how many people got taken advantage of. I am with all of you, it is getting alot harder to trust any mail or anything you get anymore.

I don't think the group behind this is too bright. Not only are they looking at time in prison, but they're looking at federal prison time, seeing as how they used the postal service to deliver their fake "checks."
