I agree, no movie deal, no book deal... nothing. But thats not likely.

So what do you guys think he will get out of this? I mean time wise and fines.

I really don't know because it sure seems like people are getting off really easy for things anymore. Thats why people do what they do. The penalties are rarely that severe. Unless they decide to make an example out of him. I think they should.

I think that it would be a wild stretch of the imagination to come up with a script for a movie about this guy and what he did.

It was to simple and would require the writers to make up alot of stuff in order to make it interesting. I also agree that rewarding criminals by doing movies or writing books about what the did is just saying go ahead rob somebody we just want to be entertained. Never mind how what they do affects the rest of us. Geeze.

I had just read through all of these posts again and I was sitting here wondering about this guys dad, who i a judge.

Hopefully hes a divorce judge or something on that order, otherwise how could he hand out sentences after this fiasco his son just pulled. One would think it would be very uncomfortable to do so considering the fact that this kid will need a lawyer etc and possibly dad would have to pay for that.

And I agree, no book deal, no movie deal. Just give him lots of jail time as this is Grand Larceny on a large scale.

I think they could make an "Oceans 11" type of movie about the biker bandit, or something like it.

This biker bandit has huge gambling debts that he hasn't paid off and has filed for bankruptsy, and then pulled off a couple heists...
I see a movie in the makings for this one and it would put Las Vegas back in the spotlight.
I wonder if Las Vegas casinos and the movie makers had figured that one out yet.

Like the rest of you, I don't think this man will get any annuities out of a movie or book and I think he should pay the losses, a fine and some time as well.

A robbery at gun-point is an automatic 7 years in prison for a theif.
So the biker bandit will be looking at doing seven years in prison for starters and possibly more if they link him to the money robbery at the other casino.

No amount of money in the world is worth giving up your freedom for. And with his dad being a judge, he should know a little something about the law and what he would be facing if he got caught. Or maybe he just didnt care.

But I guess maybe he just didnt think through? But if drugs were involved, that would explain the not thinking about the consequences I guess.

This is one theif that belongs at the top of the list in the worlds dumbest criminals. I am surprised that he managed to stay off the radar as long as he did.

I never would have thought that a thief who managed to steal so much would write about it online to brag. Though I am glad that he is now behind bars where he belongs. I hope that he won't be seeing freedom for a very long time.

I am guessing since Daddy is a judge he believes that his father will be able to help get him out of at least some of the trouble he is facing, which hopefully won't happen.

He deserves the most punishment allowed by law in my opinion. I also hope that other would be theives take not of this and decide to get jobs rather than trying to rob someone.

I wonder if his dad being a judge will effect his punishment. I hope not but we all know those sort of things happen all the time.

How old is this guy anyhow? I might have missed that somewhere in the posts.

I think they mentioned the biker bandit is in his early to mid-20's. That pretty much explains his actions.

I remember when I was in my mid-20's. I felt all grown up and like I could take on the world. Later to find out I still had a lot to learn about life.

I think I also read that Anthony, the biker bandit, was still living with his parents.

I know parents are suppose to police their children's actions the best way they can.
But when a child is an adult, all we can do is give them advice and try to steer them in the right direction through life; they are responsible for their own actions.

They may make an example out of him because judge Daddy most likely is pretty pissed off over all of this not to mentioned seriously embarrassed as well. So most likely Daddy isn't going to do much to help him out of all this, at least I hope not.

All in all I am just glad that he was caught and now hopefully he will have to spend a good amount of time behind bars because that is where he belongs.

The sad thing is the punishments that judges are handing out these days are fairly light because of the over crowding that the jails and prisons are contending with these days.

Though hopefully the judge that this so called Biker Bandit goes before will hand out a punishment fitting the crime. I am sure that the Bellagio is gonna want to see him punished severly for what he did in their casino.

I guess we will just have to wait and see how all of this turns out in the future. We can all cross our fingers and hope that he is put behind bars and some kind of restitution is required.

It just could be that he will get more than expected out of this. I mean what if they decide to make an example out of him just simply because he is a judges son? But who knows, I guess we will just have to wait till he goes to court to see what happens.

Someone here had mentioned drugs? Perhaps he will go into a rehab and then any court hearing might be postponed because of that. This could actually go a long time before the guy is actually sentenced.
