Default The Las Vegas Hilton is 40 years old.

The Las Vegas Hilton opened on July 2nd, 1969 and celebrated its 40th anniversary with a special day for its employees, 19 of whom have been there since The Hilton opened.

The Hilton also celebrated with a 24/7 happy hour, some commemorative chips, and special casino promotions.

Elvis Presely debuted at The Hilton on July 31st,1969 and did 837 consecutive shows which were all sold out. He did his last performance at The Hilton on December 12th, 1976.

Wow that is alot of employees that have stuck around after 40 years. It has to be a good place to work at. You don't really hear of that too often.

I think it was so nice of them to honor their employees and make them a part of the celebration.
