Vegas Named Coolest City in United States

Forbes magazine named Las Vegas the "Coolest" city in the United States, tied with New York City, in their June edition.

I hate to say it but Las Vegas has the highest rate in teen pregnancy, the worst housing market and unemployment rate, traffic congestion and crime. But- despite all of that, it's definitely the place to be.

The entertainment factor of Las Vegas is what puts it right up there at the top. Las Vegas attracts 36 million tourists a year! The city's laws which are bit relaxed compared to most cities also add to the allure for people.

I think it is so cool that Las Vegas was named the Coolest City!

Compared to New York City, I agree that Las Vegas should be noticed as the coolest city in the US.

Ive been to both cities numerous times and as far as entertainment is concerned and things in general to do or see, Las Vegas, in my opinion, wins hands down.

No doubt that Vegas rocks! It's not just the excitement in the casinos, it's the countless shows and sights to see. Never mind the many, many, outstanding restaurants and clubs!

Whatever you enjoy, Vegas has it, many times over in many different versions.

I think definitely that Vegas has to be the coolest city in the US! Look at all the stuff that there is do wrapped up into one city! New York is a nice city to visit and Miami is nice too, but out of those cities I like Vegas the best!

To be honest I was actually suprised to see that New York tied Las vegas to begin with. I know that New York has a lot to offer but not nearly as much as Las Vegas does. Las Vegas has a lot more variety. There is something for the young, the older and everyone inbetween. It's not so much like that in Vegas. At least not to the same scale.
