Vegas terrorized by "Scarf face" bandit.

The Northeast part of Las Vegas valley has been recently terrorized by a robber that is now known as "Scarf Face". And police are determined to get this guy before anyone gets hurt.

“We've got an individual that we're calling the ‘Scarf-Face’ bandit,” said Metro spokesman Bill Cassell.
Las Vegas police said despite the somewhat silly nickname, the man is a bold and dangerous criminal.

This man has robbed at least a dozen places since December 19th. At first he would buy something, or ask for service but has now progressed to the place where he goes directly to the robbery.

One store manager had this to say about the robberies.

“We're changing our hours just to keep it on the safe side. It gets darker sooner, so we're going to start closing at 5 p.m.,” Aguirre said.
“He's getting more comfortable. Sometimes that leads to a tragic result,” Cassell said.
“It's just me and her here, and it's scary to know that someone can come in with a gun and rob you,” Aguirre said.

Hopefully they will be able to catch him soon. He is getting way too brave in what he is doing.

That is scary and I don't blame that guy for closing up early one bit. I work in a store as well and I worry all the time about someone coming in and trying to rob us. You just never know anymore. You can't trust hardly anyone.

I get scared to when I catch someone stealing and have to call the police. Some of them get pretty violent and you just don't know what they are capable of doing.

I hope they catch that guy asap.

I agree I also hope that this man is caught quickly and delt with. I also have worked in retail and we had to deal with alot of people who were caught stealing. Its quite scary becuase you never know what one person is capable of doing when caught.

I wish people werent like this, but sadfully they are and everyone else has to be careful of everyone else.
