Vintage neon signs make comeback in Vegas
The vintage neon signs will be put up along a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard. 17 signs from the Neon Museum will be used in the Scenic Byways Plan for Las Vegas Boulevard.
Some of the signs include The Horseshoe from Binions Horseshoe Casino, the slipper from the Silver Slipper, the Hacienda Horse and Rider from the Hacienda Hotel where the Mandalay Bay stands now.
$240,000 from the sale of Vegas Centennial plates has gone to the refurbishing of the signs and it is said that it is like taking a trip in a time machine.
