I remember some thirty years or so ago, you could buy a buffet ticket for a buck ninety-five in most casinos, and I think if you played at a slot machine long enough a waitress would come around and give you a free buffet ticket.
Meals use to be so cheap many years ago and that really helped out the casinos; less money spent on food meant more money spent on casino games.
I think if the Las Vegas casinos would start giving out free buffet tickets the way they use to, there would be more people in the casinos spending their money, instead of them having to pay for meals and skip the casino until the next day.
That's how my wife and I worked the casino games. We'd spend so much a day; X-dollars went to games and X-dollars had to be set asside for meals.
Now, if we had the option to play games longer and get a free buffet pass, then we'd spend that extra money on the casino games (it's not rocket science).
