Default Downtown Restaurant with guest?

During our stay in Vegas, we'll be doing a 3 to 4 hour photo-shoot on the strip and downtown. The shoot will end about 7 pm in (or around) Freemont Street.

I was wondering if we should ask our photographer to have dinner with us after the shoot.
We exchanged some emails and I read her blog, she is the same age as we are and really seems like someone we wouldn't mind spending some time with.
Would this be considered strange in the US?

If we decide to do so: should we ask in advance? (She has a family, so she might want to plan ahead.)

Restaurant-suggestions are welcome as well!

I think it would be a great idea and it happens a lot here in the US. Plus, what better way to make a new friend.

I havent been to Vegas in a while now and will be glad to get back there next summer.

Enjoy your stay in Vegas and if you look in the restaurant section of this forum you will find a lot of great suggestions for restaurants of every type.

I wonder how Birgit's photo shoot went?

As to the question about a restaurant; most of the major hotel/casino's in Las Vegas have awesome restaurants and the cuisine is to die for (metaphorically speaking).

Have a look at these "best restaurants" reviews and decide for yourself.

The restaurant reviews may be slightly outdated, but most of them still serve with same quality.
