Default Hash House Family Restaurant

I am positive that after a good night out in Las Vegas I would need a decent breakfast to soak up all of the alcohol I drank the night before and get myself back on my feet lol. I found this family owned and ran breakfast restaurant that sounds appealing.

It's called Hash House Family Restaurant. Although they do serve other foods beyond your typical breakfast menu they seem to specialize in breakfast dishes.

One person wrote about the restaurant that they serve the best homemade hash they had ever had. It was made fresh and not from the can.. not greasy easy which I hate greasy food.

Here are a couple of reader reviews...

Best Breakfast Hash Ever! I've always liked corned beef hash, but hate the normal 'canned' hash you get at most restaurants. Well, I found homemade hash at the Hash House that is great, not greasy. The owner, Mary, makes all four of her hash recipes to order from fresh ingredients. It's a locally owned place, not a chain, with friendly people and casual atmosphere. If you don't like hash, you can try her great omelets, waffles, pancakes or steak. It's all good, and you can enjoy it watching a big screen plasma TV at their unique coffee bar if you want too!

Just finished lunch, I decided to forgo my favorite breakfast and try something different. I ended up with a large slab of meatloaf made on the premises, mashed potatoes & gravy plus a homemade cup of clam chowder. It was great. Service was fast and friendly and I was offered a choice of their specialty sauces, chipotle, habanero or spicy ketchup, all made by their chef on the premises, it was a fulfilling meal which I really enjoyed. Located on the southwest corner of Decatur Blvd and Sahara Ave, there is plenty of free parking in front of the restaurant. They also have a coffee bar with a large 42" plasma display for those who want to watch the news or sports.
Anyone hungry yet lol!

This place is located at 2605 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas and you can pay by cash, Visa and Mastercard.
