Default Annual Sema Convention

The annual Sema (specialty equipment) Convention was held today in Las Vegas and Honda made quite a show with some of their new cars.

Quote:
"With the CR-Z sport hybrid coupe, drivers can achieve the great efficiency of a hybrid car without giving up the fun that many demand from a sporty car," said Bruce Smith, Honda vice president of parts operations. Honda’s gambit with the CR-Z is to create a blend of performance, style, fun and green—pushing hybrid cars further out of a pure eco-oriented sphere to a mainstream market that sees green simply as another aspect of a car's coolness.
It looks pretty sharp to me! I'd drive it if someone wants to give me one lol!

They also unveiled two other hybrid concepts that have a lot of promise.

You can check out some of the other cars by following the link. They are really neat looking I think. Not too futuristic in style which is something that I don't care for.

Default Re: Annual Sema Convention

I actually saw 4 different cars on there that I sure wouldnt mind owning.

For hybrids they sure are some nice looking cars and I am with you, I dont care for the really futuristic ones. They just arent my cup of tea. And most of the futuristic ones look like they are made wholly for the younger crowd, not us older people.

That would have been a convention I would have loved to have attended.
