Fantasy Football Convention

This is one that I would really enjoy. I am a big fan of the NFL and I have begun to get my feet wet in the Fantasy Football league.

This is a convention for the World Championship of Fantasy Football. The event is set to begin on September 10th and finish up on September 13th. This convention will take place at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. 1,800 are expected to attend.

The planned events go as follows-

Thursday Sept. 10th..
Event #1- Keeper League
Event #2- GridIron 10K League Draft
Event #3- Invitational League Draft #1
Event #4- Ladies WCOFF Championship

Friday Sept. 11th..
Event #5- DraftMasters
Event #6- $5K Auction
Event #7- $1K Auction League Drafts
Event #8- $5K Draft
Event #9A- Main Event Session #1

Saturday Sept. 12th..
Event #9B- Main Event Session #2
Event #10- $25K Platinum League Draft
Event #11- Invitational League Draft #2
Event #12- Keeper League
WCOFF Celebrity Poker Tournament
WCOFF ESPN Zone Party

Sunday Sept. 13th..
Sunday Viewing Party

I can not believe this has such a huge event? Its a make believe game!!! lollll

I love fantasy anything, but to go to a convention for it?? Are there prizes or something?? lol

There is a grand prize of $75,000 and many more prizes. They are giving out a total of $300,000 in prizes!

This would be cool - I play in some fantasy leagues here. We usually do a big party for draft night. It's a blast!

Never knew there was a convention like this though, kinda think they are a little more serious than we are LOL

Who knew there would be a convention for fantasy football. It would be cool to attend this. I played in my first fantasy football league last year and had a blast.

I will agree with you VegasLover I think they take it more serious than most other people do, but hey it's fun.

It may be fantasy to a lot of people but it is real to a lot more. I was surprised to read about how many people play fantasy sports. My son plays it every year and won it last two. I am not that good. Maybe I should let him pick for me huh?
