Default Powertrain Expo and Big R Show

Comming in late October thru early November at the Rivera Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas the Big R Show and Powertrain Expo will be underway.

Its being held from October 31st thru November 2nd. These two shows are combining this year to offer attendees with some new opportunities and new ideas.

If your into cars this would be intresting to see. I know that I have been learning to work on cars myself for several years now and I would love to be able to see this.

My sweetie is also a mechanic (which is how I am learning about cars,LOL) and he would also love to see this. I just wonder if I told him about this if a plan to Vegas would be put into action?LOL.

I bet a lot of guys would love to go to one of these shows. Believe it or not though, my husband and my son would have no interest in this. My husband can do anything to a car that needs done but he's just not into looking at them lol. He could care less. I guess that probably where my son gets it from too. Now me, cars really interest me. It amazes me how they work lol.

When I first had the chance to learn about cars in school, I jumped at the oportunity even before I was allowed into the auto mechanics class.

I knew the teacher well because we would both go jogging together after hours on the school track. I talked to him while we were jogging and he told me to come up the his shop during my free time and lunch time to learn more.

Since only 10th graders on up were allowed in shop class, I learned a little before tenth grade and then took the class as soon as it was available in tenth grade.
I got a B+ for the course and wish it were longer, but only a semester was allowed as I had other studies to attend to in high school as well.

Most people would say and think that the drive train of a vehicle starts at the transmission, which is correct.
But in theory the powertrain of a vehicle starts at the flywheel and clutch or torque converter, this is where the power of an engine starts to transfer to the rear/front wheels.

The Powertrain Expo would be a nice event to attend, but after looking it up it looks like it's mostly for Automotive Professionals to be in attendance.
I guess that would be auto-makers and dealerships.
I'm not sure a regular person like myself could get in, but I guess the only way to find out is to show up.
