Default "Save the Dream" Convention in Las Vegas

"Save the dream" tour has stopped in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center and will got through June 20th.

The "Save the Dream" tour is an annual event and this year they expect to help more than 5,000 Las Vegas homeowners during this tour alone.

Counselors are at the event helping struggling homeowners to lower their mortgage payments and rescue them from foreclosure.

People go into the convention center with dismal outlooks. They leave with hope.

Quote:
Isaiah Henry is one homeowner who walked out of the convention center with new hope.

"When [the economy] changed, you couldn't do much. You paid your mortgage and if you were able to do that, you were happy," Henry said. It became harder for Henry to keep up with his mortgage, but with a little help from a counselor, he was able to reduce his payments and save his home of 15 years.

The "Save The Dream" event is actually part of a nationwide tour. The non-profit organization has contracts with many major lenders to make the deals. Some homeowners like Lamar and Sharon Ballard said they will now be saving over $1,000 per month.
I'd love to see this tour make a stop in my area. I know so many people who are struggling with outrageous mortgage payments and also many who have already lost their homes. This may help a lot of people.
