Star Trek 2009 Annual Convention

The Star Trek Convention will be held at the Las Vegas Hilton August 6th through the 9th. They are expecting about 3,800 people to show up for this convention.

They are going to have so many different stars there. Stars like Christopher Lloyd, William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, Colm Meaney, Jonathan Frakes, Brannon Braga, Robert Beltran, Ethan Phillips, George Takei, Jacqueline Kim, Michael Dorn, Tim Russ, Rene Auberjonois, Roxann Dawson, and Armin Shimerman.

These stars have appeared on all the different Star Trek's. I was so sad when Star Trek Next Generation quit making episodes. I love watching that show.

This is something I would enjoy going to, not because of getting autographs, but to meet those people I've watched on the screen for so many years would be awesome.

I started watching Star Trek soon after it first came out on television (at the time Lost in Space was my favorite sci-fi show).

And then the Star Trek movies came out years later, shortly after the Star Wars movies I believe.

I like Star Trek a lot, but forget most of the star's names.

Star Wars is still my favorite sci-fi experience; on the screen and in all the books I have and read.

I always wanted to go to one of these. They look fun with lots to see and do. I'm not big into meeting the cast - I can imagine that's one long line - I think seeing all the memorabilia and props would be cool.
