That's pretty cool. It would be neat to go see what they have uncovered recently, but I'm sure they will keep that info for last just to keep people around.

What is the cost to see this conference?

I remember seeing a UFO once when I lived in Ohio. And my neighbor friends confirmed it the next day when I went to tell them about it.

No news or media heard about it and I don't think there were any others who saw the ufo.

My friend and I went out in the field where we thought we had seen it pause above the ground. I don't remember if it was anything out of the norm other than a flattened-out grassy area. So we just figured that's where it was hovering and it didn't seem like a big deal to us.

But that's life and we just moved on.

Some of the speakers at this confrence would be very interesting. For instance, James Carrion- Introduction to UFOlogy.

Stephen Basset- Barack Obama and the politics of disclosure.

Dr. Robert M Wood- Forensic analysis of Edward Teller and UFO Docs.

One speaker talks about a UFO crash near Kingman, Arizona in 1953 in which a small body was found. And a description of the body.

It would be very interesting to know more details as to what happens to the bodies of extraterrestrials that are found. Where they are kept. And it would also be great to hear why all of this is so top secret.

while im not vain enough to think we are the only ones god created i do not buy into all the ufo hype. do i believe in other worlds? of course. the logic that keeps me from buying into all the hype is simple distance. the fastest space probe we have can do about 40 thousand mph. light travels at about 671 million mph. even at that speed it would take about 4 years to get to the closest star to us. about 25 trillion miles away. assuming there is life on a planet orbiting that star, they would have to be thousands of years more advanced than we are to travel those distances. is that possible? yes. do i believe a civilization, so far advanced than us we cant even comprehend them, travels that far and does not even bother to say "hello"? no. the ufo hype is a perfect diversion for the military. they have developed things under our nose for decades and everytime one is tested, and seen by human eyes, it is called a ufo. the ufo junkies cry "we told ya so" or "cover up". the government crys "no" and the debate continues while military projects are kept secret. remember the f-117 stealth fighter? this "ufo" was seen for 10 years flying around the desert before the military introduced it to the world. just one example of hundreds. tax dollars at work.....

So, my guess would be that our government is paying these guys to put on a show once a year in Vegas just to keep the UFO believers in check.

Kind of strange if you ask me. I've seen something to the effect of a ufo myself across the field from my house when I was about 13.

It started out as a slow moving flying vehicle with white and orange flashing lights (slightly dim flashing, more like glowing and flashing).
It moved slowly strait down to the field and stopped, then hovered to another area in the field (all in straight lines and slow movement).
I'm watching TV at this time and just thought it might be a helicopter looking for an escaped criminal from a nearby prison.
When I glance out again this ufo now has one dim orange light and shoots towards my neighbors house at a blinding speed and disappears.
(without any noise mind you)

OK, now I'm thinking this can't be a man-made aircraft, because that was just too fast for our technology in 1974.

I went to the neighbors house the next morning and asked them if they saw this orange glow come towards there house (after explaining what I saw the previous night).
They said they did see this big orange light shoot through (or what seemed going through) their apple orchard right at their house and then it went vertical and disappeared.

Explain that one ufo-non-believers...

This conference looks like it would be an interesting look into what people think our government is hiding from the public. I've read some UFO books and thought once maybe I had seen one when I was kid at night - I'll chalk that up to some secret military plane they were testing. I think it wasn't too long after that the military revealed some new plane. I don't remember what it was.

Do I think that other beings could be living on planets far from us, yes. Do I think that our government is hiding information, yes....but I have to agree they should hide some things from public knowledge, because there are people who would really just flip a cork, if there were actually other beings dropping by to say hey, yep we're here.

Well, Rival you have a point there. The human race isnt ready for anyone from outer space. We cant get along between ourselves. And if there are aliens, thats probably why the secrecy of the visits. And thats sad.

And even sadder yet is that they have been supposedly visiting for eons and we still arent ready and we probably never will be.

I'll plead..... neutral on this one lol. I can't say that I have ever seen anything so I don't know if there is anything out there or not. It's possible.. anything is possible. I just haven't witnessed anything.
