Slot Tournaments
If you have ever walked into a casino and seen a roped off area around some of the slot machines with the players furiously tapping the buttons then most likely they were having a slot tournament.
You don't usually have to be a regular or a slots expert to join in on the fun usually. Most casinos host either weekly or daily slot tournaments.
For most of the tournaments here is how it goes. You are alloted a certain amount of credits to begin with and you are given a certain amount of time to use them in. thats why people you see people furiously hitting the spin button. Once you have used up all of the alloted credits or you have run out of time thats it, game over. Your alloted credits are shown on one meter and the credits you have won are shown on another meter. You cannot play the credits you have won.
Once time is up an attendant will get record everyones winnings and the person with the most wins the tournament.

Re: Slot Tournaments
Slot tournaments are very popular these days because they easy to play. Slot tournaments do not require a lot of special skills, which levels the playing filed and makes then inviting to all players. Like all slot machines you will need a little luck to make it to the top. Slot tournaments have a simple format. When you sign up for the tournament you will be assigned a slot machine number and a session time to play. When it is your time, you find the machine with your number and have a seat.

Re: Slot Tournaments
My wife and I have visited Las Vegas a few times in the past and she would get these invitations to slot tournaments, but I wouldn't.
Ok, I got one invitation to a slot tournament for my second visit, but the slot tournament is over in about five or ten minutes.
I think live slot tournaments are more of "luck of the draw" to win than the online slot tourneys.
I've won more with online slot tournaments than I have with the live one.
I know, one live slot tournament doesn't really count much since I've played in a hundred online slot tournaments.
So, it might be safe to say that live and online slot tournaments may have the same outcome if you play both often enough.

Re: Slot Tournaments
Has anybody been in a slot tournament lately?
If you have, give us a quick note and tell us all how you faired during your slot tournament, or tournaments.
I haven't played a slot tournament in quite a while because of the latest crack-down by the US government.
And hopefully all that bs will pass and we'll get to play in online tourneys to win real money, real soon.

Re: Slot Tournaments
The kind of slot tournaments we generally talk about in this thread are the ones that you would play at a brick-and-mortar casino or live casino that is not online.
Yeah sure I use to play in online slot tournaments, but our lovely US government helped to put a stop to that...
So most of us online gamers now have to twiddle our thumbs instead of enjoying a little online slots fun. (Sorry, had to get that out.)

Re: Slot Tournaments
Its fine that you got that out, I also am not happy that we cant play online casinos and I gripe about it every chance I get.
Each year I think this will be the one, but it never happens. And I sure dont appreciate others making my decisions for me. It just doesnt sit well at all.

Re: Slot Tournaments
What use to be my favorite part of the end of my work day was playing in the slot tournament freerolls at my favorite microgaming or vegas tech casinos (vegas tech had to shut down their operations for lack of money flow; thousands of jobs lost).
I surely miss those days. And, after I was shut out of playing those slot freeroll tourneys, I decided to try online poker freerolls and try to get lucky...
Just to be shut out of those as well.
I would like to say, well maybe one day; but it's more like, well maybe one year we will be able to play online games in the US like that once again.

I was supposed to start playing this all slots casino and as a beginner your thread encouraged me a lot with such tricks.
