Tournament Play

A friend of mine loves to play both Blackjack and Poker. He is also very good at these games. He almost always comes out ahead when he plays at the casinos near home.

He wants to get into a tournament of Poker, though while discussing it we realized that neigher of us had any idea of how to go about getting into a tournament.

I was hoping that someone here would be able to answer this question for me, because he has been having one heck of a lucky streak as of lately and he would like to play while his luck is still holding out.

So if anyone has any ideas of how to go about getting into a Poker tournament I sure would appreciate the informantion and any suggestions.

He will heading off to Las Vegas next month for Thanksgiving. His family is from Vegas and hopefully while he is out there he will be able to also get into a tournament and possibly win a good deal of money while having a blast!!
