A history of big winners in Las Vegas

We all dream of hitting that big Jackpot while at Las Vegas.
But I didnt think I would have a chance of hitting big there until I saw some of the biggest winners in Las Vegas' history. They were everyday people, just like you and I.

For instance, take the case of 92 year old Elmer Sherwin, he won BIG, not once, but twice on Mega Bucks in Vegas.

The Megabucks jackpot starts at $7 million dollars and Elmer hit the first time for $4.6 million dollars then went back 21 years later to hit Megabucks again for $21 million dollars!!! The great part of Mr. Sherwins second win is that he is donating it to Hurricane Katrina victim.

Another big winner on Mega Bucks was Amy Nashimura from Hawaii who hit the Megabucks jackpot for $8.9M while only playing with a hundred dollars.

The biggest winner of all was for $39.4 M at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino in March of 2003. This jackpot was won by a 25 year old young man who was visiting Vegas for the NCAA. He will recieve $1.5 million dollars a year for the next 25 years. Now thats some annual income!!!

If I remember correctly, just last year a lady put one dollar in a machine and won a million. A week later, she put another dollar in - and won another million.

Some people have all the luck lol!

Now that is lucky!!! I thought I was lucky when I dropped a quarter in a keno machine and won a hundred dollars. I would probably go into shock if I won something like that, and hope that my friends would get me the money for me as I would be speechless. In my name of course. lol
