Default Win or lose in Vegas

I know that there are quite a few people here who have already been to Las Vegas, some even several times who have spent money gambling.

I was just wondering on average how much did you end up winning or losing while there playing any of the games offered?

I know that some people end up losing thousands of dollars or even more which totally amazes me.

I have yet to visit Las Vegas, though when I do I know I sure wont have that much on me to be able to lose,LOL. Though it sure would be nice to be able to come home with a few thousand dollars extra,LOL.

Also what games do you like to play the most??

I almost broke even once while in Vegas. I think that was my first time there.

I would spend a $20 bill and keep the winnings from it, and so on until I was out of spending money. That is usually the second or third day of visiting.

Then I started using my winnings, and ended up going to the ATM the day before I left Vegas.
If I had kept up my thrifty spending with my winnings, I would have walked away with some extra cash.

The other times I've visited Vegas I've spent several hundreds of dollars, win about that much in the first three days and the winnings would end up back in the machines.

It's all about having fun while visiting Vegas, one day I just may get lucky and hit a jackpot that I can blog about.

i usually budget 3k per day but never more than 15k per trip. i have spent more on some occasions but find those numbers allow me to play the way i like without feeling guilty about throwing that kind of money away. i am pretty good with my yearly gambling/playing budget. it is pretty constant from year to year. i usually make vegas about 6 times a year these days, with atlantic city mixed in, as well as some indian casinos. there were times i used to go once a month, or so, but just dont have the time anymore. please note that my charitable donations far exceed my gambling budget and many a vegas employee has had a car note or school loan taken care of. i hope all that play only play what they can afford to lose. if it is a few thousand or a few hundred the majority of people will lose. in the long run EVERYBODY loses. that is how casinos are set up. they dont build billion dollar casinos because people are winning.... vegasluvsme said it best "it is all about having fun while visiting vegas".

Thank you 1819, you're a good man in my opinion.

I would give more to charity if I had less bills to pay, but I do give a little and hope it will help a couple deserving people out there.
