Default Keno

Keno is a game that can be found in everywhere, and Las Vegas is no exception to the rule.

The object of keno is to pick a certain number of numbered blocks off of a larger block that is numbered from 1 to 80. The more of the numbers that you pick that hit, the larger your win will be. Plus the amount you bet per game will dictate the amount you win.

If you succeed in picking say 7 numbers and you hit on a rather large bet, you will have won a great jackpot but the house advantage on keno is not conducive to your winning much at this game.

It is said that the fewer numbers you play per game the better your odds of winning. It is said that trying to win the jackpot that goes with picking and hitting ten numbers is one in over 8.9 million.

To me, keno seems to be a game of pure luck, although at one time, I stuck a dollar in a quarter machine, picked 4 numbers and hit for $100. Not a big win but a big surprise win for sure.

Casino Keno games are all very different. The game play is basically the same. The variances come in the form of payouts. There can be major differences in the amounts you can win for 1 number at one casino to the next.

Make sure that you know how your casino pays. This way you are not disappointed or upset when you recieve your winnings.

Keno is a game of chance. You pick ten numbers or less and hope that they are among the twenty that the casino chooses. I like keno but it is a difficult game to win.

I quit playing the game because no matter what I chose the numbers were always the wrong ones. I got tired of spending my money and getting nothing in return. Now I stick to slot machines and instant lottery tickets.

I did play keno a few times years ago in a small town in Nevada and usually broke even, so really don't like to play this game.

My brother usually won a few dollars over what he bet, which was a $1 ticket. He did win $5 a couple times too. Must be good at number picking.

I like playing keno, but just for a short time......it gets boring to me after a while. I know people who only play the keno machines though, and they can play all day long! I guess it's like any other game, if your winning it's fun

Did you know that the Keno game along with many other popular gambling games originated in China. The Chinese brought them to the US when they immigrated here.

There are other games that were also brought here by the Europeans when they came to the states. I am glad that they could bring this knowledge with them.

Gambling is an all American past time but it isn't ours to claim. We didn't start the gambling phenomenon the peoples of the world did. We owe them a debt of gratitude for bring us such great games.
