Default Let It Ride

I tried playing Let It Ride Poker online today, and I just don't get it. Does anyone play it or know how to play? I think it is kind of a newer game. Not really sure.

I know i had to bet and I received 3 cards. Thats about all I know about the game. I wish I could learn how to play it because it looks like a lot of fun for me to play.

I don't know much about the game but I found the rules and how to play it for you.

If you like to low-roll but yet have a chance to win big (with the bonus side bet), Let it Ride is the best game you can play.

When all is said and done, let it ride is played out similar to 5 card stud poker. You use your 2 cards and combine them with the dealer's 3 cards to make the best 5 card hand.

What makes it nice is that even though you place 3 bets in the beginning, if you don't like your hand after the deal, you can pull one of these bets back, and then pull the 2nd bet back if the first card the dealer turns over doesn't help your hand.

The strategy is somewhat similar to Texas Hold'Em, if you think about it. You will only get paid on hands of Tens or higher, so if you're dealt a pair of 10s or higher, don't pull any bets back....basically, "Let it ride."

I won't go into any more detailed strategy, because the link above to the wizard's site will definitely steer you in a better direction than I ever could.

I remember getting a strait flush on this game, but I pulled my money-making bet back, silly me, because I had two low suited cards, until the flop came.

I still got payed, but would have been nice to keep my bet money out there to get the full payout, 200 to 1.

Thank you all for the inputs. It really helped me to know that I combine my 2 cards with the dealer's to make the best poker hand. And it is nice to know that I can take away a bet if I wanted to.

Now I am going to play the game again online to see if I do any better.
