Default Sic Bo

This is another game played in some of the Vegas casiono. I had never heard of it.

It is another chinese dice game. It is played with three dice and the object is to pick the individual numbers or combinations of numbers that will show up on the dice when they are thrown.

It sounds interesting. The table has a layout of payoff odds.

Quote:
One-of-a-kind Even Money
Two-of-a-kind 2 to 1
Three-of-a-kind 3 to 1
2 dice combinations 5 to 1
3 dice totals of 4, 17 60 to 1
3 dice totals of 5, 16 18 to 1
3 dice totals of 6, 15 14 to 1
3 dice totals of 7, 14 12 to 1
3 dice totals of 8, 13 8 to 1
3 dice totals of 9, 10, 11, 12 6 to 1
Doubles 10 to 1
Any Triples 30 to 1
Specific Triples 180 to 1
Small (3 dice totals 4-10) Even Money but loses on triples
Big (3 dice totals 11-17) Even Money but loses on triples
I am going to see if I can find an online version of this game so I can give it a try.

I understand that triples are worth nothing if you just bet high/low.

So while most people bet high/low, if you have a little bit of a bankroll, betting numbers is a better bet.

The dice tumbler is a weird thing:

I have heard about Sic Bo many times, but never took the time to read up on it.

It reminds me the board game called Trouble, which has just two dice in a centered dome popper on the board game.
To take a turn, a Player would have to press down on the plastic center dome and let go, and then the dice would pop up and flip around into different positions.
The players would then use the numbers on the dice to move their game-piece around the board.

I remember trying to get the dice to stay on the same numbers, but that never worked, the popper would always change at least one of the dice.
