Texas Hold'em is a fun game to play. Pretty easy as well.

Each player gets 2 cards face down. (hole or pocket) Then place a bet.

Three cards are then dealt face up in the center of the table (flop) Everyone playing the game uses these cards with their first two cards to make the best poker hand.

Now you can bet or check. Then another card is dealt face up on the table. (turn card or fourth street). Place another bet.

Then the last card is dealt face up. (fifth street or river). The last round of betting happens and the players that are left over will show their cards. The best 5 card hand win.

If I play a card game online or in a casino, Texas Holdem is my favorite one to play. It is fun and easy to learn.

Hold'em is one of my favorite poker games too.

I just started learning how to play it about 5 or 6 years ago and won seats to several small private tourneys where I made a little money.

Those live private games have also taught me a lot about live play Texas Hold'em poker games through the years.

I'm getting to like Omaha Hi/Lo more often now in my online poker play.
Where a player has the chance to split the pot with either a High hand or a Low one.
And there's a lot more action with a Hi/Lo game.

I just started playing Holdem online, and i am getting so aggrevaited with some of the players that sit there and wait until the very last second on every single hand to decide if there in or out!!....why do they insist on taking so damn long???? And what about the players that go "all in" without even looking at the flop? Every single hand? You either have to match them, or sit out, and its a pain in the butt!!!
