War
We've probably all played War as children, so this is a game that's familiar to us.
The rules for playing War in a Casino, are as follows:
War is played with 6 decks of cards, and the cards are ranked the same as they are in poker, with the exception that aces are always high.
After the players wager, each one and the dealer gets one card. The players' cards are compared to the dealer's card. If the player's card is higher than the dealer's card the player wins even money. If the dealer's card is higher, the player loses.
If there is a tie between the player and the dealer, the player must make a choice whether to surrender (forfeiting half the bet), or to go to war with the dealer.
Going to war - the player must raise his bet by the amount of his original wager. (The dealer also does this). The dealer then burns 3 cards and gives the player the next card, and the dealer one card. If the players card equals or beats the dealer's card the player wins even money (only on the raise, with the original wager being a push. If the dealer's card is greater, the player loses both bets.
Some casinos pay 10-1 if the first 2 cards tie.
