Default Electric Daisy Carnival Week in Las Vegas

I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not but a mega sized music festival known as modern day Woodstock will be in Las Vegas this wekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The reason i said I don't know if it's a good thing or not is because a couple of teenagers have died at this festival in the past when it was in other cities.

The festival is called the "Electric Daisy Carnival". They just finished up in Dallas where a teenager died during the event.

Quote:
This is the largest electronic music festival in North America. It's had a checkered 15-year history with reports of drug use, and was reportedly kicked out of the L.A. Coliseum after a 15-year-old girl died from an ecstasy overdose last summer.

A woman who was there said it was crazy and dangerous.

"They completely blocked it off and people started jumping the fences. People had nose bleeds, head injuries. Lil John was there and he actually took the microphone from the DJ and told everyone to stop," said Joy McIntire.
They said that they are hiring even more security for this event and are also paying Las Vegas police to work overtime at the event. I am sure it will be a great event as long as they can keep things under control.

There will be famous D.J's and rides. The cost to get in is $200 each and they expect to gain $115 million in non-gaming revenue.
