Default Garth Brooks in Vegas

Garth Brooks has an on-going residency at the Encore Theater at the Wynn in Las Vegas and he has just announced a new round of shows. His new show series will cost more to see though as they have hiked up the prices for tickets.

Quote:
New concerts have been added for the weekends of December 3-5, January 21-23, February 11-13, and February 25-28. But when tickets for these shows go on sale November 13, they'll carry a higher face value than before: $225, plus $28 in charges and tax.
I have loved Garth Brooks for as long as I can remember but I seriously doubt that I'd ever pay that much for one of his shows.

Before Garth started his first round of shows at the Wynn he had wanted his ticket prices to be $25 just as they had always been. He has always believed in affordable prices. But The Wynn folks felt that his lower ticket prices were
allowing scalpers to get the tickets cheap and resell much higher so Garth's fans weren't really getting a deal. So they agreed on $125.00. Well now for some reason they are a lot higher than that for his next set of shows.

Quote:
"When the greatest live performer of our time appears in such an intimate theater, the seats should be priced at least competitively with other great Las Vegas entertainers," Wynn explained in the statement. "In terms of value, I believe that Garth Brooks is still under-priced and represents the greatest entertainment value in modern Las Vegas."

I like some of Garth Brooks' songs, but I won't pay anything more than $25-$50 to see him live.

The first time I heard of Garth was during my first marriage and someone was kidding around saying I probably liked Garth Brooks. That was around 1990.

I just told this wise person I didn't know who Garth Brooks was. He says, "Your kidding, right?" I said I wasn't kidding.

So, there you have it.

I have to admit that I also love to listening to Garth Brooks music. He is an amazing singer. Some of the songs of his that I really can't get enough of are of course Thunder Rolls has to be my top favorite.

Then there is also, If Tomorrow Never Comes is another favorite of mine.

I also love to hear is Friends in Low Places.

These are three of my favorites from Garth Brooks and if I were ever in Las Vegas I would most likely play some rather high ticket prices to be able to see him live and in person!!
