New Year's Eve at the Cosmopolitan

If you were thinking about going to Las Vegas to celebrate the New Year you might want to get your plans in order now because Las Vegas fills up fast for New Year's celebrations.

As a matter of fact, plans are already in order for celebrating the New Years at the Cosmopolitan which is set to open on december 15th.

Jay-Z and Coldplay will be sharing the stage at Cosmopolitan as well as performing solo sets.

The Cosmopolitan says the concert is part of a three-day invitation-only celebration roughly two weeks after the resort opens. The $3.9 billion resort owned by Deutsche Bank is scheduled to open Dec. 15.

They say there will also be a suprise performance on the resorts pool deck.

And you won't have to miss any of it because everything will be broadcast on the resorts 65-foot marquee overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

vegasrocks, you piqued my curiosity and I had to go check this place out. In a word: Wow. Another word: Expeeeeeeensive. I'm definitely adding this to my list of "Things To Do When I Win The Lottery" list. If the suites are any indication, New Year's will definitely be high class, custom-made, and memorable. Oh, and full of booze.

That does look like a high dollar casino hotel. It kind of reminds me of Palazzo a bit.

I'd love to visit the Cosmopolitan casino just to see what kind of action I could get into and mostly to see if I could walk out slightly richer.

On December 15th Las Vegas will be slightly on the chilly side and there will probably be snow floating around somewhere in the US.
