Default cool stuff

someone posted about the zero g experience in another thread and it reminded me of what an awesome time that was. i highly recommend it. if you can get over to the speedway they have event where you can drive an indy car or nascar. they have all levels from driving with someone to a 2 day class where you can do up to, i think, 16 laps. i did the indy car. i think i did the 8 lap races. incredible. one thing that was really cool was the blimp rides. they dont do them anymore but they were real cool. helo ride out to the canyon is always cool. helo ride down the strip is neat as well. if ya need to take a break from the table give some of those things a try....

Those all sound like fun....If anything, I'd go for driving the indy car...the nascar race sounds nice, but too 'common'...indy cars would be quite the experience...

I do good enough to fly from philly, so a helo ride for me is outta the question.

That's like skydiving - why jump out of a perfectly good plane?

lol. the drive to vegas is more a threat than any plane ride. i am not a huge fan of flight but i dont really mind it since i am used to it. i have over a million lifetime miles on continental alone. with the number of flights everyday it would still be great odds if a plane crashed everyday. i am about to drive into the city today(ny). i guarantee i see at least one car accident. already, on the news, i see a policeman killed in an early morning car accident. dont let a plane ride hold ya back. you are missing out on a wonderful place........

That is so true. Up until July of '07, I hadn't flown since 1991, and had vowed never to fly again.

...Until my job presented an opportunity to visit Vegas. I didn't even have to think twice about flying, and although it was nerve wracking the first couple of flights (been there 3 more times since then,) you get used to it...
