Las Vegas City of Lights Festival

The Las Vegas City of Lights Festival is to be held on Saturday, April 30th through May 1st at the Government Ampitheatre. Jazz artists and R&B artists gather from all around the United States.

The Jazz fest portion of the event runs from Saturday at one til ten. Some of the most famous musicians will be featured including Grammy nominee El De Barge. Also present will be Nick Colionne, Skip Martin of the Dazz Band and Maceo Parker.

"The Las Vegas City of Lights Jazz and R&B Festival continues to spiral itself into a very special light... it now ranks with the likes of all first-rate European and big-city-USA spring and summer music festivals, perhaps more so because Las Vegas is truly a one-of-a-kind city," said Michael Schivo, the Las Vegas shows coordinator.

I must admit I really do enjoy jazz music. It's timeless I think. It doesn't matter if you are 82 or 12, odds are you will like it.

I'm not sure of what the cost is to get in... if there is one but I do know that you can even bring along your own food and drink to enjoy.
