Default Shark Reef

The last thing you would probably think of when you think about Las Vegas is the ocean but Mandalay Bay is changing that with their Shark Reef. The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay has just about everything you could think of.

The Shark Reef includes a 300 pound sea turtle, sharks, exotic fish and a lot more. They have over 1200 different types of marine life! The Shark Reef kind of makes you think of an ancient temple slowly sinking into the water of the ocean.

There is a tunnel that is designed to look like a sunken shipwreck. It houses five different species of sharks and the other largest of the aquatic animals.

The Shark Reef opened back in 2000 and since has become one of the most prestigious aquariums in the United States.

Admission is $16.95 for adults, $10.95 for children between the ages five and twelve and kids four and under are free.

I guess I know where you're coming from Chipsahoy, since sharks probably love cookies.

The only way I like to see them, is when they're behind 3 to 4 inches of glass.

ROFLMAO

That's too funny

I agree that sharks are best seen through 3 and 4 inches of glass. They can have some interesting mannerisms sometimes if you sit and watch them.
