Tallest Building in Las Vegas

In Las Vegas there are more than 155 high rises, most of which are around 400 feed.

Though the tallest building in this busy city just happens to be the Stratosphere Tower which stands at a whopping 1,149 feet. Granted that the Stratosphere is not the worlds tallest building there is, but it is the United States tallest observation tower.

So if your looking for a great look out over the Las Vegas area this would be the very best place in the area to do just that.

As tall as the Stratosphere is, only time will tell if it will continue to stand as tall as it does now or not.

It seems everyone wants to always make things taller, bigger and tougher. So who knows how long the Stratospheres record will stand.

Architecture is simply amazing these days. It seems as though they can literally make the buildings touch the sky. I am afraid of heights so I'd probably pee my pants at 1,100 feet lol!

LOL Vegasrocks. I know that feeling, however I most likely would not even make it passed 50ft before I passed out or something. In school we went to Washington DC for a school trip and let me tell you I went up into the Washington monument and I almost passed out on that one. Then again they did make me look out,LOL.

Though if you were looking for a great view of the entire area and did not have a fear of heights then this really would be the best place to do just that.

I like looking into interesting little facts like that because well its just that....interesting.

I can't say that I would ever go to the top of the Stratosphere, but I would stand on the ground and look up at it. That is about as far as I would be able to go, LOL.

I have been up there.....it is beautiful! I was there at night time, and I have to say it was just awsome! You see all the city lights just being anywhere on the strip just about....but up there you see alllll the city lights, from the strip all the way to the mountains! it's like seeing a map!

Afraid of heights or No.....you should go up there if you get to vegas!
