Dana White (UFC President) was talking about "The Ultimate Fighter" Tuesday during the "TUF" media day and he predicts that the UFC will be the biggest sport in the world by 2020.
He says people were saying he was a lunatic ten years ago when he started this whole thing and look at it now. The UFC is huge!

The UFC will be on network television in the coming years, but we’re not going to go out and do a stupid deal because we don’t need them. We built this thing without help from anybody, and that’s why the UFC has been able to flourish even in these hard times.

He went on to say that they just sold 22,000 seats for an event in Australia in just fifteen minutes!
He talked about the NFL andhow thats America's sport. He said they spend billions of dollars trying to break football into other countries. It isn't working because most people from other countries aren't interested in it. They didn't grow up playing it. He says you put two guys into an octogon and allow them to use any style of martial arts they want, people from all over like it because it brings all cultures together.
He predicts that Las Vegas will benefit tremendously from the UFC withing the next ten years. He feels that the UFC is about to explode and he wants to bring Las Vegas with it.
