Experience Racing In Vegas

I just read about this and man I have to admit that it sounds like it would seriously be fun to do, dangerous but still fun.


In Las Vegas at the Vegas Motor Speedway you can actually pay to race exotic cars. Cars like Porsche, Audi, Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin.

I mean that would be so cool, where else could an average person be able to drive a car like a porshe let alone actually race the damn thing????

At least you also get instruction from a professional before taking the car of your choice out onto the race track which is a good thing. To start off your experience you do have to take a classroom class, then experience a couple of laps in a porche. After that is completed your given an instructor who rides along with you to make sure that your safe for one thing, but to also teach you how to handle powerful cars and get as much fun and experience as possible.

Now if you can't drive a standard, the cars come with what is called paddle shifts so everyone can take the experience.

I also thought that if you paid to do this would would get to make 2 or 3 laps around the track but instead you really get to take 5 laps so you can really have some fun.

Of course you have to pay to have this kind of fun and it depends on the car that you want to drive. Prices range from $200.00 to $550.00! The more exotic and fearce the car is the higher the price is to drive it.

Then when your laps are over you even get a certificate of graduation to show off you friends and family!!

Where was this "Experience Racing in Vegas" when I was young?

I had my share of 'hot rods'; doing burnouts, doughnuts, a few drag races, some drifting and a little personal mountain road racing many years ago (safely, of course).

Racing around a track wasn't one of my favorite things to think about doing, but my brother and I would have loved to have gotten into the racetrack thing when we were young.
That was something we talked about a lot since we were both skilled drivers.

Today, I still wouldn't mind taking out a fast car on the Las Vegas race track just for the thrill.
