Jose Aldo & Mike Brown

Oh my, Mike Brown didn't come out of this fight too well. The fight took place yesterday at the at The Pearl at The Palms between Mike Brown and Jose Aldo. The fight was stopped in the second round with Aldo being declared the new World Featherweight Championship by technical knock out.



Mike Brown left the Palms with stitches over both of his eyes and what propable hurt him worse, no belt around his waist.

“It’s a crazy sport. I’m shocked every time I get in there,” Brown said. “Holding the belt is over though. Where do I go from here? I have to try and figure that out.”

Early on in the second round, Aldo knocked Brown to the ground and things just got ugly from there.

“It’s hard to say what happened; I don’t remember exactly,” Aldo said. “I think at some point we were pinned against the fence, I jumped with a knee and he fell out of balance. I started hitting him from there.”

Mike Brown is a great fighter and although he lost this one, I am sure he will make his way back.
