Default Justin Timberlake Raising Money for Shriners

Justin Timberlake is hosting the PGA Tour’s 2010 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals For Children Open this week in Las Vegas. He has some big names coming in to play including Chris Riley, Charley Hoffman, Nick Watney, Dean Wilson and Rickie Fowler.

Quote:
"If you don’t like having fun, we don’t want you here,” Timberlake told the media on Tuesday at TPC Summerlin. “I’m very excited … and I’m surprised at the field we’ve been able to attract.” Ah yes, the field. On the course will be the likes of Stuart Appleby, Rocco Mediate, John Daly and 129 others vying for the $774,000 first-place check.
Off the course on Saturday Justin is hosting a concert. The concert includes himself, Elton John, Christina Aguilera along with actor/singer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and his group, Diddy-Dirty Money. The concert is to be at Planet Hollywood’s Resort & Casino Theatre.

Justin has been trying to expand his charity event. He says if it would be better to hold it in the Spring than they will do that. Whatever it takes to raise the money for Shriners.

I love to hear of celebrities using their popularity for something good like this. What an awesome cause too.
