Mayweather vs Mosley

Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be taking on Shane Mosley in the boxing ring on May 1st at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Shane Mosley is normally a quiet kind of guy. He doesn't tend to run his mouth too much before a fight. For this one he has been acting differently. He has been running his mouth and even went and got a tattoo.

Mayweather Jr. and his dad say that say he is out of character. They feel like Shane is trying to talk himself into the fight with all of his talking and other actions.

"He wants to be the man he was when he beat Antonio Margarito. But that's not going to happen. Because he's not fighting Antonio Margarito. He's fighting Floyd Mayweather Jr., and he's in trouble."

To be honest i don't know a whole lot about Mosley but I know Mayweather and he will be ready for this fight. It might be a really good one I think!

Floyd Mayweather jr. has been pushing for the Olympic style blood testing for drugs for some time now. Mosley has agreed to the testing before they fight. Mayweathers team believe that because this is such a major fight and Mosley agreed to the testing that maybe the commission will make the blood testing standard rather than just the urine testing.

From what I understand some drugs are not detected with the urine tests.

Mayweather says that too many fighters are taking performance enhancing drugs and it is putting too many fighter's health at risk.

"You start seeing so many different fighters, over and over again, go into comas," Mayweather said. "Fighters are dying. From what I hear, enhancement drugs are making fighters punch harder, faster and stronger. All it's doing is hurting the sport."

I think it is a great idea and that it should be standard to have blood testing before fights.
