NASCAR Big in Vegas

NASCAR brings in the big bucks in Las Vegas. NASCAR is a great boom for the Las Vegas economy.

This time of year the NASCAR comes to Vegas in a big way. It's what they call Nascar Weekend but it actually started on Thursday. Ticket prices were reduced this year because of the weaker economy. Lots of folks say they may not have made much money this year but they have saved what they could all year long so that they can still attend these races.

They expect to have about 300,000 people in attendance for these races. On Thursday there were races on the dirt track next to the speedway. The Sam’s Town 300 is on Saturday and on Sunday is the Sprint Cup Shelby American.

Oh I love nascar and yes I am a Gordon fan by the way.I wish I knew about this sooner,because I would have loved to have gone to this event.It sounds like every nascar fans dream.To get to see all of the cars and maybe meet some of the drivers,wow,even I would love that.

I did not know about the event in Vegas,but I do now.Maybe next year I can make plans to go.There is nothing like being at a race and watching,television is just not the same.I am sure that they will have plenty of nascar memorabilia ther as well.

Boy I would love to get my hands on some of the great things that they will have there.For some of us it would be the chance of a lifetime to get to go to that.A whole entire weekend of loud cars,big motors,and all of the hot drivers,I wanna go.

Nascar is such a huge sport nowadays. It brings in so many people to the cities on race weekends.

Las Vegas Speedway on my list of many race tracks to see a Nascar race

We are like religious Nascar fans here at my house every Saturday and Sunday theres a race, it's on 1 or more TV's in the house.

I have talked to alot of my friends about this event and to my suprise alot of them knew about it.I can't believe that noone has bothered to tell me about it considering how big of a Nascar fan that I am.

Now we are talking and planning on getting together and going to it next year,any ideas on where to stay and what all to do while we are there.There will be about ten of us going and we have never been there before.
