i'm sorry i do not. i do know alot of mma and boxers and the guy that just played in the movie "the wrestler" is a friend of mine but i dont know alot of the actor/ahtletes that wrestle. it is a tough thing to break into. i do know there are ALOT of schools that teach the business but it is like the movie business and all who ya know. please do not let your son experiment with any steroids unless he is fully matured and at his bodies full physical potential. steroids should not be a casual thing and ARE NOT EFFECTIVE ON YOUNG MEN whos growth plates have not closed. best of luck to him.....

Re: Oakland A's new home - Las Vegas?
Thank you 1819, no worries, my son is 26 now and he is in rolled in one of the better wrestling schools in our area, but he really wants to go to the one in San Diego, some special school, i forgot the name, i doubt if he will ever make it in, but as long as he is happy trying, i am fine with it. No steriods in his future, as far as he says, and i would notice a difference in time if he was, but he is very "clean, inside and out, doesn't believe in drugs, [ not like his mom used to! lol] and he works out hard and daily to get his body and stamina up. i wish him luck also, but its a tough life, and i can see how and why some of these wrestlers end up in such bad shape emotionally and phyically.

unfortunately, to make it, steroids will have to be a part of his life. no pro wrestler is clean. when i say 99.9% i'm not kidding. steroids are not the evil thing the media makes them out to be. sound research, a good doctor, and a resposible program are all that is needed. abuse is where the problems come in. i know one football player who died weighing under 100 lbs. he had abused for almost 20 years. when i say abused i'm talking about doing 100x times normal dosage. at those levels even aspirin will kill you. i never tell any person to aspire to be an athlete. it is not realistic. i never did. it just happened. i wanted to be a forest ranger. a pro hockey career messed up those plans. lol. the reason i pulled back on my coaching is every parent thinks their kid is going to ba a pro. it drives me insane. if your son enjoys what he is doing and can support himself then let him take his wrestling as far as he can go. just make sure his dreams/goals are realistic and the rewards always outweigh the risks.....

i did not mean to say that there are not risks and side effects. there are. being a professional athlete you weigh the risk factors. i would NEVER recommend the use to anyone other than a professional. the kid that just wants to look good gets no advice from me. i often wonder why the media does not go after hollywood. ever see brad pitt in fight club? how about ed norton jr in american history x. how bout jen aniston. you think that tight little body is natural? it's hgh. growth hormone. the same stuff evander holifield uses to look like he does or stallone. hundreds of different steroids for all kinds of different things. mostly medical. didnt you ever wonder why a guy breaks his ankle then plays 6 weeks later? the stuff a powerlifter uses is different than the stuff a pitcher uses. as a hockey player i did not use while playing. i was uneducated and the stuff available, at the time, would hinder endurance. a big no no. i used ephedrine(bronchiole dilator) and clenbuterol(fat burner). those are banned substances but they are not classified as steroids. the banning is a tough question. some argue that it gives an unfair advantage. i say untrue if everyone is using and your job depends on it. people forget that is how we, as athletes, earn a living.....
