Default Racing Experience!

I mentioned before here about people getting to experience racing in Vegas in cars of their choice. Well I guess that my old man's step dad has decided that this time he was going to do it while he was there.

It is something that I guess he has wanted to do for quite a while but never wanted to spend so much on just one thing in Vegas, but I guess this time around he is going for it.

I don't know what car he is going to drive, but I hope that he has a great time, doesn't get hurt, and gets his certificate for the race.

I think that this would be fun and if I had the money I know I would be doing it. It would be fun to drive fast and not worry about getting pulled over by the cops!!!

Here here, on not getting pulled over by the cops for driving fast queen of hearts.

If I ever gather enough money together to head to Las Vegas and try the racing experience, and remember to do it of course, I'd be putting the pedal to the metal!

Let us know how your "old man's step dad" does with his racing experience.

He got his certificate and had an amazing time. When he started telling me about his experience his eyes lit up like a little kid come Christmas morning!!

I guess he drove a Ferrari I think that is what he said, and now he is wanting one.

He said it was the best money that he has ever spent in Vegas and looks forward to doing it again on his next trip in a different car.

Sounds great! I would love to try that some day, if they'll let me.

It must be a guy thing about racing cars. I loved racing around, safely of course, whenever I got the chance to get away from it all.

There are some women who enjoy the thrill of a fast car, too.

I would want to try a Corvette on a race track since they are suppose to be one of the best road-handling cars.

Yea, "the need for speed" is something I do enjoy. I love a good handling, fast car and have one stretch of highway near us that I use to satisfy that need for speed on.

Would have love to race cars when I was younger, but back then, racing was a man thing. lol

I hear you IluvVegas. Women were not seen in racing sports back then.

I remember when I was young and wanted to race cars when I grew up.
My father use to tell me, you can't do that, you don't want to do that, or, why would you want to do that?

It was his response to anything I wanted to accomplish in life that he deemed unecessary. Except if I had ever talked about being a doctor or lawyer, then he was all about "that".

My brother and I both wanted to team-up together when we got older and build racecars to race.
But as life was thrown at us and our father got us a job at the place he worked, all those dreams changed. And it was all we could do to live in our own places and make it through life.

When people change, so do their dreams. But I would still love to race a car around a big oval track just to see how I would fare.
