Default "Rampage" Done Fighting

Here is a shocker. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson announced his retirement from the UFC on his personal blog on Tuesday. He had said he was taking a hiatus to persue a role in the new movie 'A-Team'. Now he says that we wants to retire saying that he has had so many injuries that he couldn't continue to fight into his forties anyhow. He is only thirty-one years old.

He says he wants to persue an acting career and hopes that his loyal fans will follow him.

Quote:
"The UFC has done a lot for me but I think I have done more for them," Jackson wrote on his personal Web site. "My body has been getting so many different injuries that I won't be able to fight until my forties and neither do I want to fight that long. So I feel like my second career could be in jeopardy.. so I'm done fighting."
Las Vegas Sun

"Rampage" has been a big part of what the UFC is and he has been big in Las Vegas.

I wish him well with his decision to hang up the fighting and try something new.

Movie money calling!

He was one tough as nails fighter!

Hope his new career choice works out, got to be nicer making money in movies than in the octagon.
