Default Something for Race Fans

OK everyone read this quietly!! I dont want Rob to hear about this.

He is into driving cars, I just prefer to fix them, LOL. If he knew about this one, I have a bad feeling I would be getting myself pulled onto an airplane heading for Vegas.

The NHRA ( National Hot Rod Association) will be at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway October 29th, 30th and 31st and will also be there November 1st as well.

Ticket Information

This is the only sport that you can actually "FEEL"! I must admit that this would be amazing to see. These cars really are awesome. Though I just personally dont think that I could handle a plane for them,LOL

Here is a bit of history reguarding the NHRA, its some very intresting information about the sport and I am sure that if your a lover of fast cars you will also enjoy it as well.

I knew a couple of people in CA who were into the NHRA when I lived there.

One was a friend's brother who built modified drag cars, and boy are they noisey and Fast.

The other person was my boss (wasn't too fond of this guy) and he had a1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. It was orange and had the tall spoiler on the back.
That was an awesome car.

The car I got my first license with was a modified '69 GTO Judge.
Our neighbor/friend/racecar driver let me borrow it since our car was in the shop.

It was really cool to drive the GTO Judge, but with its modifications, it was a tad scarey for me to drive.
And to top it off I had a DOT man in the car with me and this was the first time driving this car.

He took off points from me taking too long to leave a stop sign, but I told him that this car was modified and it was my first time driving it.
When I took off from the stop sign, as easily as I could, the tires spun. And that was just barely using the accelerator.

I only drove this car for the use of getting my license, which I barely passed since it was the first time behind the wheel of a modified All-American Hot Rod!

An experience I will never forget.

I love going to the NHRA shows, but only been to a few of them. I bet the one in Vegas will be huge and one Not to miss.

I don't do racing at all. I just don't see the fun in watxhing cars go in circles for hours on end. I am just not that patient. I don't really understand the rules either which doesn't help me like it any better lol.

My boss is really into racing. She goes to all the different races all the time.
