Tonight in Las Vegas is the ninth annual season of Midnight Mayhem on The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This is where drivers with a need for speed can get thir thrills without putting others in harms way.

Midnight Mayhem pits drivers against one another on an NHRA-sanctioned drag strip. It's a much safer alternative to street racing.

The gates opened at 6pm and tech inspections take place from 6-10 pm. All drivers have to have proof of ownership of their vehicle and also proof of insurance. Also their vehicles must pass a basic NHRA safety inspection.

To enter into a race costs $10 and to just sit back and enjoy watching costs $6.

I bet thats a ton of fun. My husband does the demolition derby's every summer but he has never raced. I am glad for that. The derby's make me nervous enough lol.

I bet this would be fun! I like going to these at the local drag strips here where I live. I like looking at all the cars and talking to all the people that come show off their cars. The racing is exciting too.
