Sun Buggy fun Rentals is a company who offers dune buggies to ride to tour through the desert in Las Vegas. They offer shuttles from downtown Las Vegas to the site. As few as one person can go and as many as five hundred! I have read that a lot of people who are attending conventions like to do this because they can take them all as a group at one time usually.

They offer different tours on the buggies. You can book the Vegas Mini Baja Chase which is a 1.5 hour chase through the desert.

You can book a more leisurely paced tour lasting thirty minutes.

They have a 90 minute tour driving through the smoother trails and sand dunes.

Last but not least you can book for what they call The 30. If you are a bit too scared to do the driving but want the thrills a professional will do the driving for you.

They have four and five seat buggies. The four seaters can fit two adults in the front and two children in the back seat. The five seaters can comfortably fit two adults in the front seat and two adults and one child in the back seat with plenty of leg room.

The prices vary for these tours.

That does sound like a ton of fun.

Riding around in the desert for 90 minutes sounds like the best in the bunch, although that is a long time to go racing through personal uncharted territory.

I guess the 30 minute package wouldn't be too bad but it would be over before you know it.

I would like to go on a one or two hour tour and then make a stop-off in the desert by a few shade trees (if there is such a thing out there) and have a lunch break to check out the scenery while sitting still for a bit.

A husband-wife team would probably be fun too...one drives up and the other drives back. That would be a thrill.
