A Look Back at Elizabeth Taylor

It's really difficult to believe that Liz Taylor has passed on. She was one of Hollywood's true legends. She was quite beautiful and one heck of an actress. She knew how to marry pretty well too.



In fact, she was married eight times. Her fourth marriage which was to Eddie Fisher, took place in Las Vegas at the Temple Beth Shalom. They were both Jewish so it was important to the both of them to have a Jewish wedding. That wedding was sort of scandalous though and at times it overshadowed her acting work. Fisher had been married to Debbie Reynolds. The day he divorced Reynolds was the same day that he married Liz.



Her very last public appearance in Las Vegas was on her 75th birthday. She of course was looking very glam in diamonds and fur.

She passed away in Los Angelos Wednesday morning surrounded by her family. She was 79.
