Britney Spears in Las Vegas

Britney Spears wowed fans during an MTV special at the Palm's Casino Rain Nightclub last Friday night as she sang three songs. This mini concert was her first since her "Circus" tour in 2009.



The songs she performed were "Hold It Against Me", Till the World Ends" and "Big Fat Bass".

The set lasted about 45 minutes and during her costume changes resident DJ Pauly D who is a star on "Jersey Shore" kept the crowd going.

All week, the surprise performance had been kept under wraps, but when news leaked Friday that she'd be taking the stage, Spears decided to go ahead and confirm it on Twitter:

"Looks like my little secret isn't a secret anymore...Who's coming to watch me take the stage?" she tweeted, adding, "You're all invited. Be there or be square b--ch!"

She even posted a coy Twitpic of the Palms Casino Resort marquee that advertised "DJ Pauly D & Special Guest." Spears tweeted the caption, "I wonder who the special guest is?"

Well it sounded like a pretty good concert. Do you all think she has her stuff together now? I sure hope so for her sake and her kids.

Yeah, I hope Britney Spears had her act together too.

I don't know much about Britney, but I remember watching her sing on the tv when she was first starting out.

Britney use to be this cute, adorable girl and vowed to never be like the other women singers before her (who basically turned into wild women on the stage).

I don't think she kept her vows very sacred from what I've seen and heard, she turned into a little minx herself.
I remember telling my friends that she would end up like most of the women singers who starved for popularity, parties and money (guess I was right about that one).

I wish all the best for Britney.
Popularity, money and all those other things that comes with being a star, can't be easy to just step down from when you're on a roll.
