Katy Perry's Hen Party in Vegas

Singer Rihanna was in charge of her friend's hen party and decided to have it in Las Vegas. The friend I speak of is singer Katy Perry who is to be wed to Russell Brand next month in India.

Before Katy even boarded the plane to head out to Vegas there was trouble at the airport. Apparently a memeber of the media tried to stick a camera lense up Katy's dress to get a picture. Fiance Brand punched the guy and ended up arrested!

Katy jumped to Russell's defence, saying on Twitter: 'If you cross the line & try an put a lens up my dress, my fiancé will do his job & protect me. #standbyyourman #don'tf***withtheBrands.'

Honestly, I can't say I blame Brand for punching the guy. Some media think they can do whatever they want and it's not fair to celebs who just want to live their lives.

After all of that she did make it to Las Vegas and she attended a production of Ka by Cirque du Soleil at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas with Rihanna.

What was that camera man thinking????! Okay, I mean, I know what he was thinking, but come on, really? How are you going to sell that picture--is it possible to prove the image belongs to Katy Perry? Ugh. Thanks, Britney Spears for making the paparazzi the Commando police.

I LOVE the fact that her fiance stood up for her. Not that he had much of a choice--inaction on his part would have caused a bit more of a media disappointment. And now the world knows that cameras will have to place nice when Mr and Mrs Perry are around.

To put a different twist on vegasrocks' tagline: The only time you should point a camera up someone is if you want to get a beating down.
