Marie Osmond's Son Died

This is aweful news.

I guess on last Friday, Marie Osmond's son died. He was only eighteen years old.

They are saying that her son, Michael Blosil, fell from an apartment building in Los Angelos.

The inititial ruling for cause of death is suicide but they are performing an autopsy and will look for drugs and alcohol.

The apartment where this happened is used by students studying at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Michael was studying there for apparel manufacturing.

Marie and Donny have cancelled their show until March 9th.

My heart goes out to them,I can't imagine what they are going through.Life can knock you down pretty hard sometimes with things like this.Losing your child is the most horrific thing that could possibly happen.I am praying for Donnie and Marie Osmond and i hope alot of others are doing the same.

As a mother of a seventeen year old,I sit here and think about my daughter and something like that happening to her and I can't even handle the thought.I can cerainly empathise with the family it this time if grief and I say take all the time you need.Your fans will patiently wait until you are ready to come back to your shows.

Isn't it so sad! I have three kids and I know it would kill me if anything happened to one of them. They are my life. I cannot imagine how the family feels. How do you get past something like this? I imagine she will need to take more time off than they had planned. She needs to take all the time that she feels she needs. No need to try and rush.

I just read another article about their plans.

So far they plan to miss just six shows in all and return on March 9th.

Marie Osmond and her second husband adopted Michael Blosil. Michael reportedly sent a text message to a friend as to where he could find the suicide note in the bedroom of the apartment. I guess he had long suffered with bouts of depression and had been admitted to a substance abuse clinic in November of 2007.

Authorities believe that he jumped from an eight story window but others have said it was fifteen stories high.

In a statement, Flamingo President Rick Mazer said: "We request the public respect the family's privacy during this incredibly difficult time. My colleagues and I extend our most sincere condolences to Marie and her family."

This is just terrible. I hope they can all find a way to get past this.

This was terrible news. I hate to hear about things like this., It is just so uncalled for. Young people these days do not think before they act!!

I hope it was not suicide, it is enough he died but will be alot worse on the family if ruled he killed himself.

The media can be so harsh at times lile this, essp when it a big name involved. They should show the family respect and leave them alone and let them morn!!
