Default Paris Hilton In Vegas

Well if any of you has been watching the news and other shows I am sure that you already know that Paris Hilton is in Las Vegas and could be facing some serious charges against her.

Though I would imagine that since she is famous, she will get a simple slap on the wrist and told be a good girl and released. Then again I hope that I am wrong.

If they find that she is giving false information that she is charged and charged just like anyone else would be.

I think all to often those who live in the spotlights are able to get away with a whole lot more than the average person is able to . To me that kind of treatment is just not at all right. Especially when it is about drugs, booze, damages, abuse and so on!!

That I lent my purse to someone else thing just wouldnt set right with me. First of all if you get someones stuff back with your purse, you dump it out and only put your stuff back in and put the rest away to give back to your friend later.

And I do think you are so right about people in the limelight getting away with stuff that everyday people would get jailed and heavily fined for. It should be that the same laws apply to all.

I must have my head in the clouds because I had no idea that Paris was even in trouble. I went searching for info just in case someone else has the head in clouds syndrome like me lol.

Paris and her boyfriend, Cy Waits were pulled over by the police in front of the Wynn in Las Vegas last Saturday night. The officer smelled marijuana. While the police were preparing to search the vehicle, Paris asked to use a restroom. The officer escorted Paris into the Wynn and had her place her purse in the security room. Paris asked to get lip balm out of her purse and apparently when she opened the purse .8 grams of cocaine almost fell out. The police searched the purse and also found zig zag rolling papers whixh are typically used to smoke marijuana.

Paris told the police that she had borrowed the purse and the only belongings that were hers were the credit cards, cash, broken Albuterol tablet and the zig zag papers.

She is expected to be charged with felony drug possession.

It's plain and simple Paris, your busted! (Minds out of the gutter guys, I'm talking about going to jail)

If it were any plain Joe, like myself, she would be cuffed, stuffed, and thrown in jail all within one hour of the findings.

So, can anyone tell me where Paris Hilton is now?

I doubt she's in jail. If she is, she deserves it for posession of cocaine.
I can see them maybe slapping a fine on her letting her go for posession of marijuana, but not cocaine.

I tell you the real reason she should be put behind bars is because she came up with such a poor excuse. Paris Hilton borrow a purse? Puh-lease! If that hasn't shown up on Saturday Night Live's "Really ?!? with Seth and Amy" it really should be.

Borrowed a purse. Ha!

I just heard she and the boy have been banned from the Wynn and Encore (both Wynn resorts) since they were arrested on the Wynn's premises. Sounds weird to think that a Hilton is banned from a hotel, but spotlight or no, you have got to be smarter than that. And less self entitled.

I wonder if after this incident would Paris Hilton be able to get on "Housewives of Beverly Hills"?

That's just too funny...I crack myself up sometimes.

It's not that I watch the "Housewives of" shows, my wife likes to watch them.
Ok, sometimes I'll sit down and listen to all the crap that goes on for a laugh.

I'd love to see Paris on that show...she'd be torn up and spit out...I would definitely watch it then.

What I would like to see is those living in the spotlight treated just like the human beings that they are when they do something against the law like drugs, driving while intoxicated, and so on.

Everyone treats these people as though they are more than human. It is pretty much sickening how they get pampered after doing something that is illegal!!

I know that they lose privacy because they are always in the spotlight and what not, but lets face it most actors, singers, and other performers fight and struggle to get themselves into that spotlight, so they know what it is they are in for once they finally get there.

I really don't think that they should recieve any special treatment what so ever when they have done something against the law!!

It is not right when they do this stuff and they should be forced to pay the price just like everyone else would!!

I sometimes wonder if the stars getting off so easy on some of this stuff isnt why our teenagers sometime get a good case of dumbass and think that they can do what they want expecting to get the same kind of treatment?

Well, it just doesnt happen that way as we all know. And if the teens think this way then they need to be better informed.

These stars need to face the same consequences as everyone else.

I completely agree. Stars to get off on things that the average person would have seen cell bars for a good while.

I don't think that is wrong and that very much could be the reason why kids today are under the impression that they can do as they please with out the worry of getting into any kind of trouble.

I really believe that everyone and anyone who lives in the spotlight should have to follow the laws just like everyone else does. I mean actors, singers and other performers are not above the law, but they sure are treated that way.

I know that it must be extremely hard to be famous and pretty much lose all of your privacy and have your life smeared in the headlines and online all of the time, but let's face the truth here...These people worked hard and fought hard to get into that spotlight, and they know how stars live and what to expect so getting special treatment is just plain and simple a load of bullshit!!

I agree as well. It's insane what some of the stars do and get away with. And they don't just do something once and get a slap on the hand and learn their lesson. The do things over and over again. There is no doubt that some teenagers do things thinking that they can get away with it too.
