Default Another Vegas Trip

I guess my old man's parents are going to be leaving at the end of the month for Las Vegas for another small vacation there.

They have been there many times over the years. They have stayed in every hotel there is there, gambled in every casino and have dined on a variety of great foods there.

I don't remember exactly the day they are leaving, but I hope that they get there safely, have a ton of fun and return home safely. They always do manage to have fun there. Then again I think it would be pretty hard not to have fun there.

I hope that while they are there that they both also win big and come back with something for me to brag about for them,LOL.

I can't wait to see their pictures. Every time they take a vacation they photograph most of what they do. If I can I will see if I can post some of their pictures here for everyone to see.

Guess I will find out about that when they get back. Hmmmm I wonder if I could manage to stuff myself into one of their suitcases and tag along....LOL

I love that they get to go fairly often it seems. They must love it no doubt!

I am thinking though that maybe they should invest in a little house out there lol.

I hope they have a blast and are safe!

Hey Queen of Hearts, you might be able to stow away in their suitcase but then you would be in the cargo hold and that wouldnt be much fun at all. Plus as a stow away, you will be traveling by their choice of transportation which with your luck would probably be by plane. Better think that one over again, cause I know you dont like planes. lol

But a trip to Vegas is a great get away for all and I wish them the best of luck.

That's cute queen of hearts, hiding in their suitcase for a free trip to Vegas.

I'll be they'll have a blast in Las Vegas too.

I can't remember a time where I didn't have fun while visiting Las Vegas.
Well, except for the time I was about eight years old and our dad stopped through on our way to Hoover Dam.

I talked to my dad about our trip to Vegas just a few days ago, and he said he sat at a nickle machine and hit a jackpot on it for $50!

I guess that fifty bucks would equal about $500 or more today, since he won it over 40 years ago.

I have to apologize to everyone I was given the wrong date that they are going to Vegas. I guess they aren't going until the end of July not the end of May.

I guess she was in a serious hurry to get there that she told me the wrong date.

Still this gives me more of a chance to get over my fears of flying and figure out how to fold myself up enough to fit into a suitcase as well as get a pillow in there for at least a little bit of comfort.

HMMMM wonder if I got a nice large trunk that they would want to take it to Vegas giving me more moving room....

I know I'm bad.

Queen of hearts, it better be a heavily-inforced suitcase if you want to survive the airport baggage areas.

My wife has had two suitcases come back with a wheel missing and a damaged or missing zipper.

And, airports do make random suitcase checks at the airports from time to time.
So you may be held up at a customs area if they find you in a suitcase.

But you should be safe, you're in America. (or not )

My luck even if I tried to sneak into a suitcase I would end up in Cuba or in some other country where I didn't want to go in the first place!!

Think I will just wait for a while and get there legally so that no one can stop me and I will be able to arrive more safely and with out a ton of bumps and bruises.

My daughter just recently got back from a two week tour of Europe and knowing her I was worried to death about her luggage. I didn't know if it would hold up with dragging them all over the place. I was quite suprised when she came home and all was well. I figured she's have her clothes in trash bags by the end of the trip lol.

I definiteyl wouldn't recomend hitching a ride in a suitcase! I can't imagine how miserable that would be!

Rofl, we need to take up a collection and get this girl on an airplane in a regular seat like everyone else. They do make sedatives for those that are afraid of flying.

Anyway, my first flight ever was to Vegas and I loved it. I would fly anywhere at any time if I had the chance. Its an experience that I am very glad that I had the chance to have.

Well I have to admit that the idea of a sedative is appealing. Only I doubt it would knock me out enough to survive. I don't know why I have such a fear of flying. I guess with never having done it and seeing what happened to planes on 9-11 I guess just has me totally and completely freaked out at the idea of getting onto a plane.

I know several people who have flown different places, and they all tell me that it a breeze and some say you don't even realize your in the air. Being so afraid of heights I think I would be more aware of that than most would.

I don't know. One of these days I will try it. It is something that is on my bucket list as well as standing on a beach seeing the ocean in person, that is also on my list.

There are a lot of things that I want to do and I guess I will get around to them all in good time.
